St. Armands Circle to host 13th Annual Craft Festival
Posted by Longboat Key Real Estate on
Many people move to Longboat Key for the stunning, waterfront properties and the peaceful, secluded lifestyle that it is possible to lead there.
There are many things to love about Longboat Key, including the relaxing pace of life, the stunning beaches, the luxurious condos, and the opportunity to kayak through almost untouched sections of Sarasota Bay.
There are also many terrific restaurants, specifically catered to serving excellent seafood, but, sometimes, Longboat Key residents crave a little more excitement. For that, they can travel just over the bridge leading to Lido Key and head to world-famous St. Armands Circle. This always-bustling shopping district offers a wide range of wonderful shopping boutiques, gourmet restaurants, gift shops, and cafes to browse and explore.
One exciting event coming to St. Armands Circle in June is the 13th Annual St. Armands Circle Craft Festival. This annual exhibition of local and national artists offers the opportunity to browse the art and crafts of over 100 crafters from approximately 30 states around the country. The event occurs at St. Armands Circle on Saturday, June 14, 2014 until Sunday, June 15, 2014. The festival will operate from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on both days.
The craft festival will offer a wide variety of goods to choose from, including jewelry, pottery, handcrafted soaps, quilts, paintings, books, pet products and other one-of-a-kind crafts that will make the perfect gift for even the hardest person to buy for that you know. In addition to crafts, there will be a variety of food vendors and an expansive open-air green market along with access to the brick-and-mortar stores and restaurants.
Admission to this event is free for visitors. Your dogs are also welcome as long they are leashed and exhibit friendly and gentle conduct while in crowded, public places.
